We are almost three weeks into 2023, but it is never too late to share exciting updates about this year.
Firstly, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your trust and referrals. Because of your support, I have been able to grow my business and help many families achieve their real estate dreams, as well as support entrepreneurs in reaching their business goals by assisting them in eliminating mindset blocks that prevent them from moving forward, and helping them feel empowered and inspired.
I am excited to announce that I am now a licensed broker. It was one of my new year’s resolutions for 2022, and I passed my test on December 29! Just in time to end the year feeling accomplished. As they say, “with great power comes great responsibility,” so I am committed to providing even better service and expertise to help you with all your real estate needs moving forward.
Now, back to market news; in 2023, home prices are predicted to remain stable. Although we started the year with one of the slowest markets in many years, mainly due to interest rates surpassing 7%, the good news is we are starting to see rates lower, especially as we have seen continuous improvement in the inflation levels. Lower interest rates mean more buyers in the market, which we are already starting to experience.
In the past weeks, I have been working primarily with buyers, and I am facing competition against multiple offers again, which is a direct result of interest rates being around 6%. The last time we saw this kind of activity was in the fall of 2022.
